Founded in 1982, West Pak is a leader in growing, packing and distributing premium avocados. The company partners with over 1,000 farmers and serves more than 350 customers globally. As a family-owned business, West Pak was founded with ethics and excellence in mind. Co-founder, Galen Newhouse, maintains that “Culture, family, honesty, and being true to customers, growers, and employees is what’s important, and that’s what West Pak is all about.”
Keeping in line with their founding values, the company supports environmental stewardship and hunger relief efforts. In 2019, West Pak launched a line of organic avocados, grown and packaged to meet organic guidelines and shipped as efficiently as possible to minimize environmental impact. Locally, in their hometown of Murrieta, Calif., West Pak contributes to hunger relief through their contributions to Feeding America. By donating pallets of avocados, the company ensures their most vulnerable neighbors can access the nutrition they need.
