Healthy grocer will offer fresh finds and better-for-you food
PHOENIX – July 22, 2021 – Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new store in Buford at 2925 Buford Drive on Wednesday, August 4 at 7 a.m. The healthy grocer’s new location brings 65 jobs to the community. Sprouts is known for a curated selection of healthy products, including affordable organic produce, fresh meat and seafood, immune-boosting supplements, plant-based products, and more.
To celebrate the opening, the first 200 customers will receive 20% off their total initial purchase and every shopper on opening day will receive a free reusable canvas shopping bag. Local customers can also enter to win a $500 Sprouts gift card by visiting the Buford store location page on sprouts.com. Sprouts is open daily from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Store Manager Laura Martino has been a part of the Sprouts team for the last eight years and has helped open multiple stores across California, Alabama and now, Georgia. “From our made fresh in-house sushi at the deli to our organic produce selection with more than 200 items daily, I’m looking forward to introducing Buford shoppers to all the goodness Sprouts has to offer,” said Martino.
Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the new store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain perfectly edible and nutrient rich to Atlanta Community Food Bank which fights hunger by engaging, educating and empowering the community and working with more than 700 nonprofit partners to distribute meals across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. In 2020, Sprouts donated an equivalent of approximately 23 million meals to those in need through the program.
