Healthy grocer will offer fresh finds and better-for-you food
PHOENIX – August 10, 2021 – Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new store in Maricopa at 20300 North John Wayne Parkway on Wednesday, August 25 at 7 a.m. Sprouts is known for a curated selection of healthy products, including affordable organic produce, fresh meat and seafood, immune-boosting supplements, plant-based products, and more.
Leading up to the store opening, Sprouts’ Goodness Grows Team will distribute Goodness Gifts, including garden starter kits and fresh produce, in the community. Locals can look out for the Sprouts van around Maricopa to partake in the goodness Sprouts is bringing to the city.
To celebrate the opening, the first 200 customers will receive 20% off their total initial purchase and every shopper on opening day will receive a free reusable canvas shopping bag. Local customers can also enter to win a $500 Sprouts gift card by visiting the Maricopa store location page on sprouts.com. Sprouts is open daily from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the new store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain perfectly edible and nutrient rich to St. Mary’s Food Bank which alleviates hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education. In 2020, Sprouts donated an equivalent of approximately 23 million meals to those in need through the program.
