New location near ASU West hiring 45 new team members
PHOENIX, Ariz. – May 20, 2021 – Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the country, today announced it will soon finish construction on its new store in Phoenix at 4201 West Thunderbird Rd., which will replace an existing location at Peoria and 51st Avenues.
The new 25,000-square-foot store will open Wednesday, July 21 at 7 a.m. next door to the Arizona State University West Campus, a location that will better serve local shoppers.
“Phoenix residents know Sprouts for our assortment of unique, healthy foods, and this new location will help us serve more customers in the growing area around ASU West,” said Dave McGlinchey, chief format officer of Sprouts. “Updated signage and décor throughout the store will make it easier for our customers to find new, innovative and attribute-driven products. We’ll be expanding on our updated design concepts and department layouts further with the new stores we will introduce in 2022.”
Details about the grand opening celebration will be announced at a later date. The Phoenix store will employ 100 total team members, including 45 new hires. Sprouts’ healthy approach to grocery shopping means potential team members should share a passion for the fresh, natural and organic products offered throughout the store.
