Grand Opening Set for October 11, Weekend of Activities Planned to Celebrate
Long Beach, CA – Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the country, has announced it will open a new store in the Traffic Circle Area in Long Beach, California on Friday, October 11 located at 4600 E. Pacific Coast Hwy. A ribbon cutting will take place on Friday morning at 6:45 a.m. and the doors to the store will open at 7 a.m.
“I am thrilled to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market to Long Beach,” said Mayor Rex Richardson. “In addition to providing fresh, healthy, and specialty foods to our residents, Sprouts also brings nearly 100 jobs to our community. Long Beach continues to attract businesses that enhance the quality of life for our residents, and Sprouts Farmers Market is a testament to that progress.”
Grand Opening Weekend Events:
From Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 13, there will be a variety of activities to celebrate the grand opening. A “pop-up party” out front will give guests the chance to taste seasonal produce from the tasting bar, participate in a “guess the weight” contest of an oversized piece of produce and more. These activities are fun for the whole family and will last all weekend long.
The first 100 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free ‘Goodness it’s Free’ reusable goodie bag filled with special products and samples. Plus, the first 400 guests on Friday will receive a free long stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral. Inside the store, shoppers can taste new products while they shop from innovative brands at the Vendor Village. There will be giveaways and music throughout the whole weekend.
Shoppers who text “BEACH” to 777-688 will receive 20% off their purchase over the grand opening weekend (October 11 – October 13), when they scan their Sprouts app account barcode at checkout; up to two redemptions per Sprouts account per day. Shoppers can also view Sprouts’ weekly ad and save more than $100 with digital coupons on grocery staples and new items every month in the app. Additionally, there is the chance to win a $500 Sprouts gift card up until midnight on October 13, when shoppers sign up via the Long Beach-Traffic Circle store page on Sprouts’ website.
Sprouts Farmers Market is invested in serving the communities where it operates. It works with local Southern California farmers such as Blossom Hill Packing & Lucich Santos Farms, California Avocados, Country Sweet Produce – Bako Sweet, Family Tree Farms, Five Crowns Farming, G&M Farms Inc., and others to source local produce.
Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, this store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain perfectly edible and nutrient rich to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a local organization that rescues, packs, transports, and delivers nutritious food to soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, and schools in twenty counties in Southern California.
This location will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. For more information and to sign up to win the pre-opening gift card, visit https://www.sprouts.com/longbeach.
